FAA Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health

This 4-hour qualification is aimed at providing learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help.

On completion, you’ll achieve a Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health, valid for three years.

FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health

This 6-hour qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.

Gain the ability to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation, and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.

On completion, you’ll achieve a Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health, valid for three years.

FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health

This 6-hour qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.

This qualification is for anyone who connects with young people. This includes teachers, carers and youth group leaders, as well as young adults who want to actively learn how to help their peers or be more aware of the issues surrounding mental wellbeing.

On completion, you’ll achieve a Level 2 Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health, valid for three years.

FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health

This 12-Hour Qualification equips attendees with the skills and knowledge of how to support those struggling with Mental Health conditions such as Stress, Anxiety and Depression in the workplace.

On completion, you’ll achieve a Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health, valid for three years.

It’s important to note that these courses will not provide candidates with the competence to diagnose or treat mental health conditions as this can only be carried out by healthcare professionals but will gain the knowledge to identify when a person may have a condition and know where they can go to get help.
