PAT testing is an important process that helps ensure electrical appliances are safe to use in the workplace. Faulty electrical equipment can present serious risks including electric shock, burns, and fire hazards. Regular inspection and testing helps identify potential issues before they become dangerous.

Although PAT testing is not a specific legal requirement, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require employers to ensure that electrical equipment is maintained in a safe condition. Regular inspection and testing is one of the most effective ways of demonstrating compliance with this legislation.

Pricing

Minimum call-out fee: £45
£1.50 per item (1–50 items)
£1.00 per item (51+ items)
Microwave testing: £5 per unit
