Elite Safety Services is a family-run health and safety consultancy based in York, but offers training and consultancy services nationwide. As a small business, we understand that not all businesses can afford to have in-house safety advisors, so we offer cost-effective solutions for this. We specialise in consultancy services and health and safety training for both small and large organisations across a range of sectors including but not limited to offices, manufacturing, hospitality and construction.
Health and safety can be a minefield but don’t worry, with our guidance we can provide a safe route through that minefield.
Scott Smith CMIOSH
Scott is our lead consultant and Managing Director. Scott served for 11 years in the Armed Forces as a royal engineer before leaving in 2016 to pursue a career in health and safety. Since leaving the forces Scott has worked for a global health and safety consultancy and smaller health and safety comanies so knows how to implement effective health and safety management systems whatever the size business. As a trainer, Scott is very passionate and knowledgeable but with his relaxed teaching style and friendly personality, he always has great feedback from the delegates and high pass rates.
Emma Smith
Emma also served in the Armed Forces, within the Royal Logistics Core, but following her marriage to Scott and the arrival of their 4 children decided to leave the forces, where she went on to develop a career in sales and procurement, working within the financial, leisure and hospitality sectors. Emma is our Operations and Sales Director and tends to manage behind the scenes, dealing with course bookings, finances and customer service.
Having worked in a customer facing role for the past 15 years Emma is a keen believer that first impressions count, high customer service levels and overall great customer interaction and satisfaction are key to making a business successful and strives to ensure that Elite Safety uphold and deliver on all of these.
